Part of me wanted to believe that reports from California were simply the same as normal. And I apparently haven’t watched the news lately to see the reality of it. But this video is just… scary.

    The whole “world on fire” bit isn’t scary? Great plumes of smoke and ash rising into the atmosphere behind a backdrop of a busy city, full to the brim with people? If there was a giant fire in your backyard, you wouldn’t be scared?
