You have it exactly right, nephew. Wilderness wanderings are not easy, not supposed to easy. But those who listen, and watch, and pray, and wait, learn valuable lessons about themselves and about the God who lives with them every step through that wilderness. It is a wilderness Jesus understands having lived there 40 days and nights and came out on the other side ready to the mission to love, forgive, die and be raised again. This is another baptism of sorts, as you well know. In time, you will rise all the way to new life, to renewal, to hope and love. In God's time you will rise, as will we all. Patience here is a virtue.
